Tinkers Dram Plays at Ballard Landmark

We have successfully brought the ring back to Ballard! In a ceremony last evening, Ballard Historical Society and the Bring the Ring Back to Ballard steering committee dedicated the new automated mechanism and rung the bell in celebration. Afterwards, we enjoyed refreshments at Ballard Landmark and entertainment by Tinkers Dram. Thank you to everyone who dedicated time and resources to this important community project. The City of Seattle’s Small and Simple Grant funded the custom ringing device. Mrs. Bertha Davis was one of our inspirations for this project, and we were delighted that her family could attend to celebrate her dream of making the bell a reality.
