Free Lecture November 9, The Future Remembered: The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and Its Legacy

On Wednesday, November 9, 2011, HistoryLink historians Paula Becker and Alan Stein will discuss the fifty-year legacy of Seattle World’s Fair. The Ballard Historical Society is sponsoring this free lecture to BHS members as well as the general public. We are very excited and we hope you can join us!

When: Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Where: Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse, 3003 NW 66th Street, Seattle, WA, 98117

The authors will preview their new book, The Future Remembered: The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and Its Legacy and offer it for sale and personal signing.

Ballard Historical Society will conduct a brief annual meeting and board elections at the beginning of the meeting. Members, please attend to vote on proposed board members. Join us!
