We’re excited to announce the 2013 Classic Home Tour in Ballard on Sunday, June 23. This year’s tour will feature vintage Ballard residences of unique character and modern livability. Built by skilled craftsmen, these modest homes exemplify enduring integrity and lasting quality.
Will you become a docent or volunteer? Or buy a ticket to see the lovely homes we choose? We’ll keep you updated via BallardHistory blog on the details and ways you can participate. Our 2010 tour was a tremendous success with over 600 visits to Ballard’s chosen homes of classic style and enduring construction.
The Classic Home Tour is the Ballard Historical Society’s major fundraiser, held every third year. Proceeds enable us to tackle community projects and hold free public lectures celebrating Ballard’s unique history and culture. Speaking of lectures, don’t forget to join us on March 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Ballard branch of the Seattle Public Library for “The Church on the Heights: The 7th Elect Church of Israel.”
